Celebrate Oregon's Old Fashioned 4th!
Do you miss the patriotic 4th of July celebrations of
yesteryear? Then this event is for you! Join us
on the front lawns of Historic Newell House Museum at
Champoeg State Heritage Area from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Bring your own picnic supper, blanket to sit on (or lawn
chairs) and your enthusiasm!
Hear patriotic speeches; reading of the Declaration of Independence; have the kids participate in the Oregon History Bee; listen to festive patriotic music; and sing the National Anthem and God Bless America!
